Find what you love & let it kill you.

"Find what you love and let it kill you." -Noam Chomsky

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone. Time is capable of scattering man to dust; brutalities and harsh realities are to be confronted in order to attain success. However we must constantly endeavour if we are to succeed. The question is, is all of this too dangerous or are we too risk conscious nowadays?
By looking at one mindset risk taking should be the necessity to achieve success while not taking any would be the biggest risk itself. Do you ever want to place your feet on cold ice? Are you too afraid that the penetrating chill might kill you? Have you ever wished to tear down your mental barriers and soar as high as possible, without having any reins holding you back? Fortunately the answer to these vague questions is crystal clear. Dream wildly and take risks.

To be brutally honest it's completely rational to be risk conscious. There is a spark which kindles in human nature causing us to develop valid insecurities. Often our minds become inquisitive and we wonder how it would be like to depend upon something, what the ending results would amount to? Sometimes it's a herculean task to keep your feet in two ships simultaneously. Hence it's good to be planned and organized before time. However sometimes it's better to leave success and failure on fate. That's the beauty of it.

We take massive risks along the road of precarious uncertainty. Fear of failure makes us risk conscious and wary of taking a challenge but you know what they say "The tougher the lesson, the bigger the blessing." Without risks, one simply cannot learn, feel, change, grow or love. Taking risks actually affords one an opportunity to open up to one's true talents, interests and abilities. Moreover taking chances adds some spice to your life. Do you wish to have a life as dry as a seashore rock or like the eagle flying high? When we play it safe, life becomes monotonous.

"If you dare nothing then by the end of the day is over, nothing is all you will have gained." -Neil Gaiman

Have you ever counted the number of regrets you have? No, right? That's because it hurts to realize you never exerted your potential and ventured something new. It takes courage to make choices from your heart. You never know what's waiting for you at the other corner. Sometimes it is better if every moment holds a surprise for you. Adventure and risks nurture our growth. That is what moulds and shapes your personality.

What's it like to fall in love passionately and not getting hurt? It's the person you never told I like you, it's the next person you let get away. What's it like to hit your last shot in the ground? What's it like to embarrass yourself in front of the public and then end up rising victorious before the same crowd? What's it like to invest your hard work and time in something which you know at heart will end up crushing you badly? Each day is demanding and throughout it you strive to achieve your dreams. Your striving for that one impeccable moment, one flawless smile is a true realization that you trusted yourself knowing you'd lose but today your victory overshadows everything. So let's just quit being pessimistic about matters which haven't occurred yet.

For a change, let's have an optimistic approach and not be too risk conscious.

  1. This one is my favourite. I love how you talk about the paradox of loving, like how you want to protect yourself from the things you love and I agree it shouldn't be like that because love should entice passion and not fear. Something we all need to be reminded. I'll be reading this one again!!!
